Born in Yorkshire, I migrated to the mizzly South West and currently live in Cornwall where I can see the sea from my bedroom window and smell manure from the neighbouring dairy farm.
I do lots of walking, reading, TV watching, eating and I sometimes carve out the time to write.
I studied a Creative Writing MA at Southampton University, which I graduated from with a distinction in 2016.
I am working on a narrative non-fiction biography of my Grandfather told through the lens of my childhood, spent enthralled at his feet by his fantastical stories that were often, but not always true.
I'm also writing a slow-fiction novel about unlikely friendship, and the little connections that change our lives. I write short stories about trains and birds and cups of tea, too.
